- Launched on 1 October 2026, after a free open beta in September and about six months of building.
- Ryder, the AI partner (a purple fox), opens physics simulations, runs chemical reactions, compiles C++ and writes to your notes mid-conversation.
- Covers FBISE, the Punjab boards, AKU-EB and Cambridge, in English and Urdu.
- A curriculum layer of about 7,900 learning outcomes across the Pakistani national curriculum and 36 Cambridge syllabuses.
- Free first: every feature is on the free tier, limited by a daily allowance. All growth so far is organic, with no paid ads.
- The mission is to help teachers and students shape the next generation of learning. Replacing teachers is explicitly not the goal.
Why it exists
Pakistani students spend a lot of money on tuition and a lot of time memorizing answers they do not understand. Qurricular's headline says it plainly: Board mein position. Bina ratta. A top position in the boards, without rote learning.
It is a desktop-style workspace in the browser. You open apps, arrange them, and work. Ryder sits in the middle of it, and the important part is that Ryder does not just answer questions. Ryder drives the product: it opens the physics lab, sets up the experiment, runs the reaction in the chemistry lab, compiles your C++ and writes the result into your notes, while you are still talking to it.
What is inside
- A study planner built from each board's official datesheet, which re-plans when you miss a day. A nightly scraper keeps datesheets current, with an admin approving changes.
- A physics measurement bench that models the real quantization of vernier calipers and screw gauges, because that is what the practical exam actually tests.
- Accountless simulation pages under
/sim/, designed to be printed into textbooks as QR codes. - Thousands of checked MCQs, short and long answers for Federal Board and Cambridge, added every week.
- OCR, vision and voice transcription, shipped after a student pointed out the gap.
- Study groups of up to eight friends, with Ryder available by @-mention.
- Accessibility built in: larger text, high contrast, dyslexia-friendly fonts and read-aloud in both languages.
The economy
Usage is metered in Q-credits, which are deliberately decoupled from money. On top sits a full gem and league economy across 62 tables, with a ten-tier student league that runs from Scout to Legend. Streaks matter. There is a cap at day 500.
The moat
The curriculum layer: about 7,900 learning outcomes mapped across the Pakistani national curriculum and 36 Cambridge syllabuses. It powers a coverage audit that shows a publisher exactly which outcomes their book misses. We proved it on a partner's 519-question chapter.
The layer is organized by authority. The public structure of the curriculum is ours. Publisher content is rented and revocable.
Going to market
Free first. Every feature is on the free tier, limited by a daily allowance, with a seven-day trial of Plus. Every user so far arrived organically, through SPARK students and a student ambassador program. The longer goal is for schools to run on Qurricular and market themselves as AI-first.
